LPG System Oscar-N Diesel

Dual-fuel diesel-gas system allows the engine to work on a mixture of diesel and gas fuels, achieving significant cost savings and lower carbon emissions. Economic and environmental results are strictly dependent on amount of gas added to air/fuel mixture to improve the combustion process. Our gas injection system utilises a sophisticated computer module that controls the flow of LPG into mechanical and electronic diesel engines.

A small amount of LPG is introduced into the engine via the air intake system. This gas acts as a catalyst to improve the combustion process, ensuring almost all of the diesel injected is burnt. Most diesel engines have a burn rate of 75-85%, with the remainder of the diesel being burnt in the exhaust system or blown out as black smoke. With the “OSCAR-N DIESEL” gas injection system, the burn rate goes up to 95-98%. This increase the burn rate results in less diesel being used to create the same outcome.

Best of all, no engine modification is required, the system is non-invasive, operates completely independently, is simple to fit and can be fine-tuned to your requirements. As a result of the increased efficiency created by burning more of the diesel injected into the combustion chamber, less diesel is now required to travel each kilometre, therefore extending the range travelled on each tank of diesel. Or, to look at it another way, the same amount of diesel will deliver more power and torque thanks to additive amount of LPG.

Documented evidence indicates net fuel cost savings of 10-20% are achievable running diesel. This saving doesn’t take into account the extra power (up to 30%) giving you better driveability. Not to mention quieter, cleaner and with less wear on the engine!
